Come as you are

Have you ever struggled to pray? Felt that your prayers were ineffective and bouncing off the ceiling back at you? Wondered what to say or not to say, where to start or how long you should pray for? Praying should never be that difficult. Come as you are is exactly that – bring all of what you are to all that God is. Learn to pray in ways that will help you become confident and more relaxed as your relationship with God grows and strengthens.

What about the books that have been left out of the Bible? What about the other books that the Catholics use? Is there more to the Bible than we have been given? Can we trust the Bible? In this IDT we will be looking at what the world was like when the Bible was written, and answering some of these questions…. We will look at the Apocrypha, The Dead Sea Scrolls, and some of the other gospels that have made headlines in our modern world!

Why "OT"?

The Old Testament is NOT boring, and it DOSE have relevance for us today. Come learn about evidence of Dinosaurs, the Nephilim (a race of Giant humans). The formation of Israel though years of war and bloodshed. The discovery of the real Mount Sinai and where the Israelites crossed the Red Sea and how God froze our Solar System for a day to allow a man to win a battle.

Caring and Compassion

We have so much hurt and pain in our world today.  As leaders in our churches we often encounter people with emotional pain.  Jesus had a huge amount of compassion for people going through difficulties in their lives.  As Christians we are supposed to do the same for the people around us.  Learn how to help people through their difficulties, how to be a good listener and how to really be there for people when they need someone to lean on.

3G: Girls, Guys and God

Billboards show it. Magazines encourage it. DJs talk about it. Singers write about it. It fills our TV series, our movies & our minds. As young people society encourages exploration & ‘freedom’ with regards to our sexuality. How should we respond to these pressures? And where does our primary relationship—with God—fit in?

Spiritual Warfare : Are u taking a beating?

Possession, exorcism and other Hollywood-like images of spiritual warfare are all over the place, but the reality for us is that Satan attacks God's beloved far more subtly and incessantly than we realise. It's hard to stand up and fight when we don't even know we're getting smacked. It's hard to serve Jesus the way He taught us when we're irritable, angry, afraid, anxious or depressed. God has provided weapons for war, come learn how to use them.
